Elden Ring Wiki takes set in the Lands Between, which was originally controlled by Queen Marika the Eternal, who wielded the titular Elden Ring. Her Elden Ring is broken and she is imprisoned when her demigod son Godwyn is killed, restoring death to the planet. In order to build their own fortresses, her demigod children each grab a piece of the broken Elden Ring. As a result of the Elden Ring's destruction, the player assumes the role of a Tarnished, an exile summoned back to the Lands Between. The player must recover the shards, repair them, and assume the throne of Elden Lord on their own accord. Due to its size and length, Elden Ring contains a larger cast of characters and factions than Dark Souls, despite the structure being comparable. Even while much of this narrative can be overlooked by people who aren't actively searching for it, there are more chances for players to connect with something in the story using this method.
