rock types
Rocks are formed, damaged, and transformed into different types of rocks within the so-called rock cycle, and the most prominent types of rocks include:

Igneous rocks: They form when molten material cools and solidifies.
Sedimentary rocks: They are formed when soft sediments are petrified as a result of geological processes that led to erosion and erosion of rocks.
Metamorphic rocks: They form when parent rocks of any type are subjected to heat and pressure.

igneous rocks
All igneous rocks formed from the solidification of lava, molten fragments and ash either inside the ground or on the surface, whereby lava, molten fragments (lava) and ash from volcanoes are called surface igneous rocks; Because it was formed from the solidification of magma on the surface of the earth, but some other igneous rocks such as granite were formed in the depths of the earth, and these rocks are called submerged igneous rocks because they were formed from magma frozen in the earth, and the following is an explanation of two types of igneous rocks:

Imbedded igneous rocks: They are formed through the slow crystallization of magma, either several kilometers below the Earth's surface in the form of large, irregular plutons, or near the surface in cracks and fractures such as simple, shallow immersion in new cuts or sills.

Surface igneous rocks, sometimes called igneous rocks, are formed when magma flows on Earth's surface or volcanic fragments are pushed either on land, as in Hawaii, or under the sea, such as mid-ocean recesses, where differences in magma composition affect And its mineral pattern and temperature of crystallization on the way it flows from the volcano.

sedimentary rocks
Sedimentary rocks are composed of materials that accumulate on the Earth's surface. As the products of weathering, erosion and other materials such as organic matter, the process of precipitation of these unconsolidated materials in the form of different rocks is called ossification or amalgamation of rocks or cementation. Underground sedimentation when sediment is buried and floats to the surface by tectonic uplift or erosion of covering material.

Metamorphic rocks
Metamorphic rocks are formed as a result of the exposure of the original rocks to heat and pressure, which leads to the formation of a completely new rock, where the original rocks can be sedimentary, igneous, or even metamorphic rocks, for example, when the igneous rocks are subjected to sufficient pressure, the plates move metal sheets in the same direction as the metal sheets moving in the same direction.
