'One-stop shop' to help young people in Bradford find work





A new youth centre has opened its doors in Bradford to help young people find jobs.

The Bradford Vibe Youth Hub, based at Forster College in the city centre, is a joint effort between a number of organisations, including Bradford College and the Department for Work and Pensions.

It is been described as a one-stop shop, where a wide variety of organisations from across the district offer services to young people all under one roof.

Duncan Burnett from Bradford College, says it is a great starting point to find work: "It is an amazing opportunity and it is something that is been missing to support young people.

The services on offer include employment support, training opportunities and money advice.

Mobeen, 18, who's used the centre, says: "it is amazing and it’s helped me out a lot actually because throughout lockdown I was looking for a job. This can help people get in to work."
