One of the popular legends about the Amarnath cave is that this is the place where Lord Shiva narrated the immortal story to his wife, Mata Parvati. And listening to the immortal story, a pair of pigeons located here got immortality. These two pigeons are still sitting in this cave. Whoever sees the pairs of pigeons frees them from this human yoni by seeing them in the form of Lord Shiva and Parvati. Along with this, by listening to this immortal story, he also became immortal through Venus.
